Did you contact your service provider? They'll provide you with the SMS outgoing server settings.

Yea, you must contact your phone' service provider. The problem is not on your mobile phone.

Meh I got a similar problem, I have a Samsung I780 with Hi as my provider. Works perfect, one problem tho, I can't get any text messages from people who use T-mobile (provider) and those with that provider aren't able to call me either (once they press "call" it automatically hangs up.) I'm too lazy to get it fixed tho.

Thats what first happened to me when I got my phone from AT&T. Took about a week to really register itself in the servers then from there it worked perfectly.
