    You can sell your services for whatever price you want. But you dont have to pay to get the continous necklace made since your doing it yourself.

    I think it's $10

    This is the reason:

    He says cutting costs $2
    He doesn't say that it costs $2 each time, he says it just costs $2
    And the Welding costs $8
    Same as above

    $2 + $8 = $10

    If you only connected it 3 times it wouldnt be continous because the two ends wouldnt be connected.

    no... think of a triangle...

    align three of the chains in a triangle, then cut the 4th chains 3 link's once, then weld them each on a corner of the triangle.
