    I quite like the layout and simplicity/ease of use it conveys, but at the same time it feels just a tad too light or simple (some what contradicting myself but oh well...) and I think it would help a bit if you added a splash of color into it, replacing some of the white or grey with a bold color would help keep the simple design yet make it pop more, in my opinion. Also that negative space up top just seems like it could use something... maybe a bigger version of your logo up there, colored perhaps. Either way good job on it, whether you take my 2 cents or not.

    Edit... Also maybe cut that white 2 pixel line down to 1 instead or else make the grey one 2 pixels as well because it looks a little off like that.

    ps i'm really interested in your sidescroll deal on your portfolio, how did you do that? i'm looking to make something like it if i can figure out how :S

    that's awesome, i've never worked with jquery before, how does something like that get implemented into a webpage? 0_0 blows my mind haha.
