Sex pistols are a very bad example of punk anyway, they all couldnt play intruments when they started they were put together buy a record lable you create controversy, there were all about the look, none of them could play an instrument when the band was formed. greenday are over rated i dont like them, theyve made an name for themselves but they forgot there roots fast, thats why there was a turn on them. and fall out boy are a good example, they changed there style quick for money.

yah but sexpistols did bash greenday. and yup sex pistols suck, and i dont lke greenday but they alot more than the pistols did.
I listen to alot of metal (listening to SOAD right now ). I like a good screamer but, it can go horibly wrong. There are some bands that, their voice is way to low, and you can't understand what he's saying. I listen for the message in the song, that's why i don't like rap. But you can't do that if you can't understand the song. SlipKnoT's a good example of a perfect screamer, so it Static-X.
mudvayne....is alos a bad mallcore is also a bad mallcore band...they looked so gay at ozzfest does any1 know y ppl call them metal soad is not metal never is staitic-x
i listen to hardcorish bands like himsa, norma jean, atreyu(well theyre old stuff was hardcore, but i like the new stuff aswell.
srry dude only slipknot is good out of those bands all are mallcore(not metal) bands and they rip off of real metal bands never liked any of them
i dont like norma kean or atreyu but i can see what they have done that is sort of reveloutionary but atreyu arnt exactly hardcore theye a sort of hybrid.
Mudvayne is still my favorite band. I dont know if I would call SOAD metal. More like Political junkies. I hate bands that sing about politics and ----.
no SOAD arnt metal, im not sure where to group them but definatly not metal, id probally class them as generic rock.
