OK WHO here that listions to metal thinks that "mallcore" bands are over taking the genre i mean i listion 2 slipknot but korn isent metal and ppl clam its death metal and i hate korn....anyways yea i listion 2 mayhem,darkthrone,immortal,khold,lacromisa,morbid angel,sytracion,dissection,the black dalthia murder,as i lay dying,amgathda,Amon Amarth,DEATHSTARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,blaphyorgor,holy blood,dimmu borgior,behemoth,bathory and cradle of filth and much more and those bands kick desrve much more shirts in hot topic or more videos on mtv2 then bands bands lik korn,disturbed, and other gay ass bands
CoF arnt metal, its because no one knows there music genres and where there musics roots are, everyone just eats up the mtv fed music. also im into metal but only the good stuff, commercial Metal sucks, hardcores the scene to be in, but only if you know your music, again comercial hardcore sucks.

no, not really i just want to know if anyone shares the same views as me, its not attention seeking, doing that on a forum is ridiculous. how is that a last resort, where i live no one has a clue, id have respect for kids that listen to all that emo and what not is they knew the backgrounds, and im not a metal head, i listen to little metal, i listen to hardcore if i had to say one genre, and i dont consider myself cool, im just ubove you.
Those underground metal bands would probably jump at the chance to be signed by a bigger record company.
depends, some bands crave the underground respect, other dont care about roots ect, and get called sellouts, i dont call them sellouts, there just trying to earn a living.
on the other topic you got about music, whenever someone points out a band they like you go on and say they suck or theyre commercial. 1. who are you to say that ? 2. if your not trying to prove something then what are you trying to do? seriously i dont care much, but i find it pathetic a bit. and also a band is automatically more commercial if it is actually good. dunno maybe not but in my head thats how it works.
I think people who call bands sellouts are just mad because they can't say the listen to underground stuff anymore. You're right, they are just making a living.
no they wouldent darkthrone,khold and more all said no 2 mainstream labes....Y...cuz money kills music....also and some good music is underground...i mean i bet ur a as i lay dying poser name there relases form pluto records...WHEN THEY WERE UNDERGROUND!!!!!....they went mainstream to help pave ways for underground bands
metal owns as i lay dyings is soooo good, avenged sevenfold (older stuff) is good idk if you guys would consider them metal though...
