Pen Tool Stuff Up :|

Need help with the pen tool

i make 2 shapes but i cant fill it in..
but if i make 1 shape it fills in :|

I reset the settings to default

rep will be made.

 

Double click the colour box on the layer panel.

 

dont understand what would happen if i double click the layer?

 

only have one shape at a time. its in the option bar up top, but its just simpler if you work with just one shape, unless they overlap, then the overlapping area will get shaded
