get a PC slap on linux... apples "superiority" is then 10)% disolved... apple overprices on their hardware... though if you don't know how to build the advantages of a traditional PC melt a little...

From what I know Macs are better for graphics type of things. PC are just better for everything else.

I would choose PC, because everything is made for them pretty much. If you wanna play games, its hard to get good games for a Mac.

by graphics you refer to professional graphic production...

with some exceptions almost no games run natively on a mac.

no for sigs a PC is more than sufficient... unless you're working professoinally(typically with 3d renderinh/movie animation) a PC suffices...

A PC is as good/better than a mac at everything.

The only adavantage macs have (and probably the only reason that so many people buy them) is that they look nice.

you can run OSX on a PC, so why need the expensive Mac hardware, when you can buy a pc for less?

PCs are better for almost everything.

You don't find much software for the mac - you'd need to get an emulator to do almost anything. If it's Windows that's putting you off, just get Linux.

    Go PC.

    I know that. <_<

What I meant was that the reason that macs are so popular can be partly attributed to their sleek design.

If you're good at modding PCs then you can make them look amazing, but only about 1% of PC buyers will do that. ^_^

    Take this for example:

Exactly how do you get the chip out of the mac onto the PC?

You would have to emulate OSX, which you can emulate XP on the Mac. If you use the mac portion for your work and then use bootcamp for the light gaming you will be doing.

OSX has been ported to the PC architecture and furthermore it's been ripped... for free you can instal OSX on any PC.
