I really like their music, and I'm not some naive kid who has only listened to alternative music and thinks it's the best music out there, but out of all alternative artists, paramore is my favorite. They really aren't teens anymore and they aren't emo, their music isn't emo either. >_> Just because you don't like the band, don't go spewing out random insults that you don't know the meaning of. And I thought this thread was to discuss how awesome paramore was.
Their music has been proven to be emo already. You all take emo music as such an insult, but honestly, when the term started in the late 80s with freakin awesome bands like Fugazi, it was a good thing. The only thing that made the term bad was when the new millenia hit, was capitalism. Pure, music industry capitalism. Ruined the term. Paramore is one prime example of what the greedy music industry does so they can get profit. This thread is a discussion of Paramore, not how supposedly they're universally perfect, in which they're not. I find their music god awful, lacking any kind of unique musical structure in the album Riot! at all. Hayley's voice is out of place with such lack of musical quality behind it. Her vocals can't save the rest of the band from lacking any kind of genuine atmospheric touch. I simply dislike them, and will never find anything special in their music. The music industry corrupts once again...
