Hmm... cant be bothered, cause there are always subsittue to all types of food, just like if they said terrorists owns mcdonald's, I can still head on over to burger king for burgers...
That's incredibly sick... I'm not expecting to treat the chickens that end up on the plate with extreme luxury, but for god's sake, what's the point in slamming them against the walls, stomping on them or cutting off their beaks ?!
Have you seen footage of farmers slamming birds against walls? No. The only place they might be thrown are at the slaughter house. If you were walking in a barn filled with 40,000 chicks you would be bound to step on a few. But then again even if you have just 10 chicks you are growing for your backyard flock, you will loose some to being stomped on by other chicks. I guess we should sue the chicks that stomp on their hatchmates as well? If you want to know about cutting off their beaks you should read my last post. ONCE again. It pisses me off when people who have no first hand experience in this line of work attempt to comment on it or strike up an arguement or lawsuit, etc. Please stop, you do not know what you are talking about **Cough**PETA**Cough**
ya, i agree with rimfire, and guess what, we domesticated dogs for a reason, the only reason we have chickens is for eggs and meat lol
I didn't mean farmers, i meant the people that did that in the video. If you were walking in a barn filled with so many chicks i admit you could step on some if you're not careful or you can loose by other chicks being stomped by their own kind. But that's what i'm talking about: not having to crowd them so badly so that they kill eachother by suffocation or stomping. Simply put less of them or put them in a bigger room. I read now your post about debeaking, but i can't say i'm convinced since i haven't seen in real life facts about that, nor facts about the debeaking hurting as much as it said in the video :/ And, yea, i saw the video about PETA and what they truely do and was shocked to see it. And seeing PETA involve itself in this KFC thing is also something intriguing
Go to your nearest tack store/livestock supply store. You will most likely find some books there on the debeaking process that will back up what I have just stated.
There is nothing you can say to justify the fact that you have no first hand experience in the poultry industry, therefore you do not know what you are talking about.
I do believe with that statement, you just contradicted whatever PETA's sh'itehole ever came out with against the poultry industry. Unless they have a few poultry workers of their own..
Re-tar-ded. I'm not becoming a vegetarian. Animals are tasty, bottom line. Mankind are omnivores. like eating plants and meat? Why do people have such a hard time accepting this? Of course being cruel them them is an entirly different story.
