KFC abusing chickens is already known, but nobody wants to expose the cruelty. Poor chickens.

There isn't a much better way to mass raise chickens. Believe me I know. I live in Nebraska in a rural community.

hmmm you people have never seen chickens up close i guess, those things are ----in annoying and mean, they chase after you and try to bite/peck at you, and this is done by farmers too, so what is your point? why just yell at kfc?

dogs bark, and they bite people, does that mean we can cut off their snouts and then throw them against walls?

Fact is, PETA is just as cruel to animals as the people/companies they are continuously trying to expose. I could go into great detail but I don't have the articles on hand nor do I want to go look for them.

Billions upon billions of chicks are debeaked each year by farmers around the world including myself. And although they are not cramped living here, debeaking of broilers or layers help them live a healthier life. Debeaking eliminates and sort of cannibalism which is much more gruesome to see than a chick being debeaked then going back into the coop with no pain.

Since I doubt many of those peta people have ever picked up a chicken, let alone raised them for most of your life; I am positive they don't know the structure of a chickens beak, nor any other birds beak. They have one single nerve ending/vein that is in their upper mandible. The part that is cut off as a chick is the same as clipping your fingernails, the nerves do not go that far down the beak.

Anyone who has no experience in this matter should have no say in it either.
