Perhaps lack of parental guidance leading a teenager to engage in adult acitivites prematurely?

Its not solely the parents fault, but its a large part to it.

On a side note, who really cares? Obama has had this in the bag for weeks now.

Well, I think any teen who becomes pregnant is an idiot. It's the cumulative result of many different factors.

And there's nothing stopping me from saying it's more the girl's fault.

Birth-control is so amazing now it's nearly 100% perfect... if you take the right precautions. Here's what you can do:

    1. Make sure she's on the pill. Seriously, it's 92-97% effective with the typical person's use, but alone it can be 99% if used perfectly (apparently, I don't quite get it myself).
    2. Condom. If you're not using one, you're doing it wrong. I don't give a ---- if you think it makes it worse, or ruins it for you. No glove, no love. You deserve to get pregnant if you don't use this.
    3. Pull out. Even with the condom and the pill. If the condom breaks you'll at least only have that tiny amount of sperm that gets released and that should be nulled with the pill.
    4. Spermicide. Not exactly good for STD protection (it can make it worse for that even with the condom) but great for birth control. It should kill any wayward sperm.
    5. Any other method you ------ing want. There's so many to choose from. You could maybe throw in a sponge and an IUD to go overkill. It's at this point that I'd think you'd really have any chance of making any baby, although with all this hardware down there maybe you'll be getting too frustrated to enjoy it. Tough ----.

Remember, one sperm cannot create a zygote. You need a few to break down the wall of the egg so one can cause pregnancy. I once was talking to a pregnant girl at our school (she was keeping it...) and she said it was her very first time having sex and she became pregnant. She claimed she did all of the above here. "Bull----," I said. She looked incredulously at me as her eyes turned down and began to well and cried, "how can you say that!" Losing my patience fast, I replied, "you didn't use anything, just be honest." After a little while looked down and said, "well we were both pretty drunk and..."

No excuse. I've heard it a thousand times: "We were drunk." Girls use this all the time to try and gain sympathy because when they're drunk, their sexual provocations are at the will of someone else... apparently. For whatever reason, women feel that when they're drunk, none of what they do is their fault. "Don't take advantage of drunk girls." I hear that a lot, too. I can't help but think that if a girl knows she gets promiscuous when she's hammered, why does she bother to drink? "It'sth sthoooo like... fun, you know, right?! You like... get to get drunk and... hur.... get wasted and hammered and sthtuff! ... I wake up nextht to a guy every day though... how dare they always take advantage of me! It'sth not my fault that I'm an uncontrollable whore-drunk!"

I have nothing against drinking, nothing against sex (premarital and the likes), I just hate it when they blend together to make a stupid-milkshake.

I could rant and argue for days about how dumb people can be (particularly when it comes to girls and sex) but I'm going to cut it short here and say that this topic is more about teen pregnancy and how it can only happen to pants-on-head retarded ditz-brains. Palin should have worked harder on her parenting than her somehow exploding career.
