I've been thinking about getting a paintball gun. What do you fellow "paintballers" recommend?

I've been looking at Tippmann A-5's.

Depends on your price range for the gun.

Smart Parts make some nice ones like the Ion. But yeh the Tippmann A5 is really nice. They're about the same price anyways.

I'm looking to spend about $150.00, preferably less. My friend recommends the Tippmann, which I borrowed from him the other day. It worked really well.

Probably speedball, or anything. I just want a nice paintball gun that is reliable and kicks ass.

I suggest getting a BB or Pellet gun instead. I have a paintball gun and its really fun, but it does make a mess, you have to clean it, and refill Co2.
But if you want to put in the time go for it.

Get some glow-in-the-dark paintballs they're awesome.

i'd save up a bit more money and get an azodin blitz, which is $170
best gun you'll find for >$200
the blitz is the fastest, most efficient, easiest to clean, least maintenance, has the best board, and has amazing customer service
it's a smaller company, with really good guns
if i were to get my first gun, i'd go with azodin, best guns out of the box you'll find
and the best thing about it is, if you want to change your board settings, you can just send it in to azodin and have them program what kind of settings you want into the gun for FREEE. with larger companies like smart parts, you need to buy a $100 dollar board to get 11 different modes
and azodin is supposed to be coming out with a board editor that can let you edit the board settings yourself soon, which is really incredible
    don't get a spyder
if you are more into woods though, get a tippy. only for woods though.

I envy you guys, in my country you need a gun license even for a paintball gun
