This is the one without the attempt to give it depth, I failed miserably.

As you said you failed.
But I like the coloring and smuding if it is smudged.
You just need a focal on that signature lawl, one can look everywhere, downer left left right upper right, everything could be a focal.
Use some lighting or something to improve the focal you wanted to have.
I pretty like the very left part, this one adds a little depth to the signature because it looks like the part
following at the right comes a little out of that black since the great difference of color. :>

Have you tried bluring some parts to add some depth.

Love V1 and V3. Colors are great. What exactly is it, I see lots of different stuff in those. Faces and such.
