I am not stating incorrect facts just because I don't say it exactly like you want me to.
HBRedRider i think we shud just leave it at that.... this has become personal for no reason whatso ever u told him to not make it personal and now you are starting to make it.
Hahah we are just having a little discussion. When someone says that terroirst were looking to buy the "so-called" WMD's that Iraq had it kind of makes me laugh
yea i can see where you are coming from, but it annoys me when people start to make it personal when it cud be a good discussion and tbh im learning a lot lol.
I sorta agree with Machiavelli X because of what iv read in the newspapers i think that SADAM himself could actually b classifed a terrorist after everything that he put his country through....
Sorry to make you laugh but I didn't say buy. Please read the post. I said use them, and if iraq did use them against the US it would have been through terrorism, and thus an act of terrorism. The US was concerned because Iraq opnely harbored terrorism and had possible WMDs at their disposal.
Sadaam is a terroirst no doubt. He killed my amu's brother. But if we were to label Sadaam as a terroirst then ever western leader would be considered "terroirst" because they oppress people all across the world.
You do know that the supposd WMD's that Iraq had were supplied by the americans in the Iran and Iraq war to kill the Iranians because the WEST did not LIKE the regime in Iran.
but i would say SADAAM is terroist due to the fact of what he actually put his country through he went about his country testing bombs nd killing people. I remember watching SKY news and it showed bodies being burried after being used as a test. I think that this makes more like a hitler than a tony blair. lol u get what i mean? I don't see bush going about blowing up holes in TEXAS and CALIFORNIA lol.
K now we are getting off topic, but although the US has given aid countries in the Middle East by means of weapons the US did not give WMDs to be used for the killing of civilians. As far as I know these were standard military weapons, not really WMDs...
But do you see the workers in Indonesia and China who work for hours and hours day by day to have barely enough to feed there family. How about the MILLIONS of the deaths caused by starvation because the farmers in africe cant make any money off of there crops because the americans are subsidings farmers.
im agreed and this is my last and final post if u want to continue something like this we shud mayb open a seperate topic or go to pms.
THe main reason i was for the war was the fact that we were saving IRAQ from SADAAM a man who was a heartleass dictator with his own agenda.
@Machiavelli X: I wud say that this is more in-direct cause of deaths, and is a valid point but still I wud say that we can only take one step at a time....
Off topic as well? That isn't America's fault. The labor in China is actually ruining America's economy and destroying many jobs for Americans in my opinion. Large corporations use Chinese labor to get rich, but it isn't in the best interest of the country.
right im off lol use can argue all use want but im sure a MOD wil be around soon. and yess i know im spamming.........................................................................................sorry.................................
History is and always will be plagued with the many people who can be called 'terrorists', but it is based on the point of view. Look at Sir Francis Drake of England. During the Exploration Age, when the Americas just recently were discovered by Chistopher Columbus, Sir Drake was going around the Atlantic, destorying ships and ports that belonged to Spain. Apparently, to Spain and several other nations, he is a terrorist. However, to the English, he is a hero.
The same thing can be put on today' s Islamic extremist. They appear bad as portrayed by the media because they are killing (dundundun) our troops in Iraq/Afghanistan/Palestine/Lebanon. The fact still remains that they are considered freedom fighers for the Islamic way of life on a global scale and that is apparently why it has become a problem.
There are many reasons that people see these extremists as terrorists. One of them is Islamophobia, the fear and isolation of Muslims because of 9/11 and other Islamic terrorist attacks. It also comes out of the many situations that the US has had conflict with Islamic nations and groups: Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Taliban, Al-Queda, Janjaweed, and so on. Unfortunately, this fear has turned into either hate or disregard, especially for those who are supporting the war. Many might say "They shot our own" or "They want to kill all of us", but that is viewing the main minority, the extremist, and ignoring the smaller minority of innocent ones that never did a thing.
Other issues are still out there: political corruption, market issues, warfare, genocide, tyrant reigns, and so on. The fact the US has gotten involved in a good number of them doesn' t make me feel any better. If we do it with the help of the international community, better. If alone, then what the f-ck were we honestly thinking? F-cking ridiculous. The Republican party must've thought we were idiots and all gung ho over war to think Bush could lead this through.
The fact of the matter is that there is no 'true' political answer. Liberalism has plagued majority of the Democratic party and the Republican party has become far too conservative and far too ignorant to listen to the facts. There is no such thing as moral anymore. We might as well be in another Cold War with Russia, or better yet, China. We have screwed our status as an international leader to the point that I wish someone would just shoot Bush. Not to death, but to the point where he can wake up in a f-cking hospital and realize the nation hates his guts and he should just resign already.
Liberalism sucks. Conservative views are outdated. There is no such thing as moral. There is nothing else out there, people. We are fatally f-cked out of the Green Zone and into the freakin` stone wall of Reality: we are all doomed. I cannot see anything else out there for hope in this reality of idiotic tyrants and sinful humanities constantly killing one another.
It is all in the eye of the beholder. For example, anyone who eats at McDonalds atleast once a year is commiting one of the worst imaginable things you can do in India.
Sure, it was definately wrong for him to kill his own people. But what is a terrorist? a person who uses violence for politcal or religious reasons.
Saddam was a fricken dictator, he had nothing to prove to his people for politics, he did not prove to any god, for all he knew he was one. He was a very bad man, and had no political reasons to do what he did.
He was not a terrorist
This is actually exactly my point of my first topic. The media calls anyone who does anything bad a terrorist.
A kid hacked into a pentagon, he was put in jail being called a Terrorist. He did not use violence, he did not have anything to do with politics. He was just looking for information and proving to his little hacker buddies out in France or wherever that he could get into the Pentagon systems.
The media in the United States, uses the word Terrorist incorrectly.
