To be honest if you don't get what was said in that post you're completely clueless. Go back and re-read it a few times, keep in mind this topic is about signatures and originality.
Lefty was there for the long rendering process. He refused to leave me alone with the process. It was so noble, and I don't think I could have done it without him. However, I have to admit, I did rip one layer... I'm ashamed of myself =( But it was just one minor effect layer. That thing has a good 300 layers to it... so 1/300 of it weren't my work? Please don't ban me... I won't do it again =(
I judge sigs based on whether or not the look good. If I see a sig that looks like sh!t, I'll critique it exactly the same as I would for anyone, regardless of experience or forum status.
.... Just had another look, they deleted my second comment as well. Along the lines of "Oh, I can't say I don't like a wallpaper now? Okay. Fine. It's awesome." THIS WILL NOT STAND GAMEWALLPAPERS
Never happened to me. But I do know originality is pretty hard to come by now a days. It's original to you until suddenly you find out it is really similar to someone else's work. I sort of agree with the quote.
