Off a site The keys use OLEDs which are SELF ILLUMINATING Organic LED's when given power. They also use just a fraction of the energy. It's a very inexpensive technology compared to flat panel. It can litterally be made with an ink-jet type technology to spray on mylar. It is gona cost a bomb but looks cool though - another keyboard is the virtual laser keyboard which inrested me looks extremely futuristic becuase you can type on any surface without a physical connection just lasers detecting what buttons you are pressing. This is very expensive as well i saw $230 for that
Already saw it but looks cool, but I'll be sticking with my Saitek keyboard. As for that laser keyboard, I saw that a couple of years ago. Were prototypes but very interesting. Hopefully the price will drop in the future.
Wow, spilling coffee on a keyboard that expensive wouldn't be funny. Yeah it looks really really neat, but I wouldn't pay that much for a keyboard with features I don't really need. Well if the price goes down I just might could consider buying one.
