Opening A Foreign Bank Account

    Anyone have any idea of how I could do this without actually going to that certain country?

    I'd like to open an account in England, but have no idea how I could actually do that, but I heard it's possible.

    Welcome to the internet. I am sure there are possibilities where you could go to a website of an English Bank and pick the international settings. Now, isn't that awesome?

    Just go to the website of the particular bank you want to open an account with and sign up there then I think they mail you stuff like CC's, Cheque books, etc.
    I don't know if all banks will let you set up an account if you are not living in England but HSBC might as they are "the worlds local bank".

    You may need a lawyer in that area... Are you looking for a specific "off shore" investment / account? Also typically there is a high initial deposit/minimum balance requirement.
