One Of The Best Games For The Xbox 360

Gears of War

That game was so awesome

 

I just bought a 360 with GTA4.. and honestly, 5 hours into it, its AWESOME! But yeah, srsly, get GTA now.

 

I didn't get into the game except for its online play. Especially when the entire room is your friends.

 

What is a good third person Action/Adventure/Fighting/Story game? Mutliplayer would also do.

I know. My favorite games happen to be racing games (and the Hitman series)

 

They all suck, you fail for buying an XBOX

 

How about you try posting something constructive and useful for once. All I see you posting is one negative thing after another and really it's quite childish and annoying.


On topic, I'll be getting a 360 myself soon and along with GTA and prbly both RSV games, I might try Grid as that looks like a pretty nice game (so if you're into racing, that might be a game you look into).

I would recommend:

Ace Combat 6 - Good gameplay all around and fun dogfights.
Halo 3 - The story is ok but its best online with friends. I just mute all the other people out generally
Eternal Sonata - Nice story and a good JRPG. Might be a bit childish though
Lost Odyssey - Good story but I didn't particularly like the characters too much or the dream sequences
Rainbow 6: Las Vegas 2 - Alright story but I never got into the online part of it.
Call of Duty 4 - If nothing else, I think it has the best online fps for the 360 right now
Ninja Gaiden 2 - Great if you like difficulty and bloody and gore. No online to speak of however

 

Tales of Vespera, when it gets released in North America. It's a RPG.

...this is the only time that I wish I had these next gen consoles >_<

 

I can't believe no one has mentioned bioshock. Most of those games are good, assassin's creed gets boring after about an hour. Make sure you get bioshock though, definately the best action/shooter ever made.

 

I played it for a little while, but it's too much of a commitment. it's just so well made that i actually got stressed out from playing it. i mean, mad props to ken levine and the guys a take two, but i just couldnt handle it.

but here's my opinion on the 360 games available right now:

best fps: Call of Duty 4 (it's the best fps period)
best RPG: i'm not sure about lost odyssey but i really enjoyed eternal sonata and oblivion
best action: GTA IV (go figure)
best fighting: tekken
best racing: Grid
best sports: probably madden.
best puzzle: portal
