All the more reason -not- to get Vista. Halo is messiah of suck, and the fact that they're porting -another- one to PC really just makes me want to completely erase my Windows partition and use Linux alone.
Halo 1 on PC was decent but iv played Halo 2 on Xbox and it aint that great now Halo Wars is a game that looks nice
just crack halo2 to run on XP... and seriously, who gives a damn? The entire Halo series is horrifically overrated. It's like quake 3 but... ok it's exactly like quake 3... unless you consider the fact that the textures are a bit higher in resolution. BIG F`ing WOW.
Nothing that special. Halo 2 is a good fps but IMO there are better fps on the PC than Halo and Halo 2 combined! Half-life takes the pie hand down...

Vista is nothing with out DirectX 10, which is not ever out yet. Also the reason Bungie is making Halo 2 PC only for Vista is because Microsoft owns Bungie, and that is another selling point for Vista, for all those 10 year olds who love Halo 2 they will go "Mommy/Daddy, buy me vista so I can play Halo 2!" Sad part is, that it will probably happen...
