    I wonder why Canadians speak French, I'm not much of a French fan tbh.

    Some of you Canadians need a world history lesson on your own country.

    Oh I'm sorry. I had forgotten that Europeans colonized there. Don't be such a pillock.

    I like to avoid any disucssion on Canada (my own country) because most people (including those in our own country) are very ignorant.

    So here's me avoiding this topic;

    I heard that if you learn French in Quebec and you go to like Paris, the people there have a hard time understanding Quebec-accent French.

    Is it true to a certain degree?

    The French language is different in several countries (France, Canada, Belgium, etc). Not in writing but in speaking, the way some people from different areas pronounce words.

    Same thing with the Spanish language.

    True, though I understand English from the UK just fine. It's them who seem to have problems understanding us.

    Australians are a bit... weirder.

    French still sucks. I had it for 2 years on school and I hated it. French people are ignorant, too.

    The only problem I have with Aussie english is the bogan outback accent.
    I swear to you they finish every bloody sentence with 'mate'.
