HOW TO BECOME PRO IN NO TIME:
Leave the downloaded brushes and smudge your backgrounds.

    HOW TO MAKE BETTER LIGTNING:
Never play with the opacity of a lens flare, leave it on 100%

    TEXT PROBLEM?
Try to make a textless sig, don't worry if anyone wanna rip you, if they do it will just mean your work is niice and they are newbs...

    WHORING:
Don't think about whoring! Just do what you think looks niice and don't think about whats trendy or not

    TUTORIALS:
Tutorials are not made so you can copy a style, they are made to tell you about what PS can do. So don't copy the outcome of a tut, play with the style and make it your own...

    lighting:

brush with any brush (prefferab;ly a 100 pixel soft brush) set the brush opacity to 60 and brush with white or black (if you want the sig darker then black if you want it lighter then white) brush around and set it to overlay

    Brushes
Brushes are not all that good. Its using some one esles art to create your own. you dont see famous painter's doing that. So keep to default and get alot more praise for what you do.

    Render Effect
For a nice blended effect to your render ctrl click the layer, go to select-feather and pick around 10, youll be sigging in no time.

    here's some of mine

    never use downloaded brushes

    never ever use lens flare

never use the sharpen>sharpen filter; the sharpen tool and smart sharpen / unsharp mask filters work much better

too many adjustment layers will destroy quality

too many soft light / overlay layers will destroy quality

convert your stocks to smart objects (cs2) so you can make them larger again if you wish. layer > smart objects > convert group to smart object

    use the sponge tool

learn layer masks, they're not that hard and shave lots of time off any project

    Make Render look better

Duplicate the render, and put it underneith the original render
now go Filter > Blur > Guassain blur

Now select the 1st render, and scroll down on the blending modes
    and you get great outcomes

never use scanlines at full opacity, set them to soft light/overlay or lower the opacity.

    Quick Rendering Explanation.</span>
<span style=\'color:yellow\'>Rite select pen tool make sure its NOT on fill mode but slection mode (next to fill mode), Then zoom in 500x and go round the render, the edge pixels of the render is the best bet, when your done right clikc-make selection, then go about 0.3 - 0.4, then your done. a nice render.

Never set your text to Overlay with a Drop Shadow, unless you want it to look noobish.
