i don't mean that this competition is a set Up.

And i know about all the work is put in to this.

What i mean is : You have such a rep here on GR that people would easely vote for you before they give the other 1 a chance.

maybe you should provide the picture that they have to render so the judging will be really for the member that makes the best renders.

But thats just my opinion.

I knew you were going to say that. This is not a "popularity" contest, a lot of popular members have lost, this is strictly on renders and skill.

I do not want to name or shame or offend anyone when I say this, but a lot of unsuspecting low -Rep members have made it quite far. Just becuz I have a high rep and popularity, doesn't mean and I'm still in the tourny doesn't mean people are voting for me due to that. (Im using myself as an example)

If you take a look at the battle threads, personally, I think where everyone stands at the moment is where they deserve to be. Some people put in more effort than others, some put in little, others didn't even try.

We couldve easily made it a Set render which was to be cut, but this would be unfair as it would be difficult to judge the differences, and a part of rendering is choosing the right image to render.

And BTW - Huy-N I can see you viewing this thread. So much for being "banned" ehh?

 

lolol this is not Huy-n vs. Kazuya although i think that you both went a little far with that i'm not going to vote for kazuya because he's a nice guy or he's popular and i'm part of the cool gang if i vote for him, i vote because his skill is amazing and he renders wonderfully. same goes for the rest of the renderers that i vote for.

TBH , nobody can render like that . I did alot of renders myself for requests and all but before i stopped rendering i didn't have the level of Kazuya.

I didn't wanna attack you or anything , so i hope this is cleared out. ( don't want probs with any1 here only with the rippers).

Personally, I think its all the talk he was saying, and now that he can't back up any of his previous statements, he's faked his banning.

I agree with driver on the "nameless" voting. I think maybe next year we should only reveal the names AFTER the voting has been finished for the particular set of renders. Just an opinion, though.
