Information:

They're will be 32 Entrants
The battles will be 1-1
There will be 5 rounds and each round will last a week.
Tournament lasting 1 Month
You will be selected to battle others at random.
The winner will recieve 500 GR Credits
2nd Place will recieve 250 GR Credits
3rd place will recieve 125 GR Credits
The judging system hasn't been decided yet, but it may well be that judges from the GR Staff are chosen.
Members will have to find and render they're own images.

Rules:

You must have:

Atleast 100 Posts to enter.
5 - reps
You must be able to enter you're renders/entree on time.
Do not post you're renders yet, at the moment just make a post signing up.
You're name should be on all renders you submit
The render you've cutted must be cutted by you!
Render Moderators are allowed to enter.
Anyone found cheating, will automatically be disqualified and possibly, fined.
DA & CGTalk renders are NOT allowed unless you can show us proof you have permission to use them.
You are NOT allowed to enter the same render more than once.


We have 32 Entrants.

The tournament will begin on the 26th of December. (Monday)

Basically, every Monday a new round will begin, you will have till Saturday night to render the image and post it up in you're battle thread. Sunday the battle will commence and a winner of the round will be announced. Then we'll start again on the next Monday

The deadline for you're render entree on Saturday's will be 11.30PM GMT.

The battle will close at either 11.59 on Sunday or if someone has won by reacvhing a certain number of votes. (Not decided how much)

Is that okay?

If anyone has to pull out PM me.

If you don't meet the entree deadline you will be disqualified and someone will either take your place or your opponent may move onto the next round!

Looks to be awesome. My only question (because it was an issue on a different forum between myself and someone else) but what timezone is the deadline in? Is that Sat. night GMT / EST / ETC (LOL)?

 

How are the rounds going to be?

Will you be picking a certain image that both entrants have to render and whichever did the better job would move on based on the voting or whatever system that decides who advances.

Or is it where it can be any new render or a render you've already done.

The reason I'm making the entrees due by Saturday night as some Renderers only get to render on the weekends.

Soc - You choose the image you want to use it can be a premade or a new one.
