Anyone happen to have a place to get an office 2000 trial version
I searched google and cant seem to find it

I need it for a project, but dont wanna but it for a couple days of use

And i need 2000 unless 2003 is compatible with 2000?
By that i mean, i can edit the .ppt file (powerpoint file) in 2003 and still view it properly in 2000

MS office si for the most part backwards and forwards compatable. also, you might want to consider open office

http://openoffice.org you may want to try testing it though to make sure that it works, because I could open up a ppt on ppt viewer(microsft lets you have it for free) and in office XP but not in office 2003 at my school(fortunately I had a chil teacher.)

yes, it is back an forward compatable

Office 2003 will work on Win 2000, just you need Service Package 4 in order to install it.
