    basically two.

it's basically McCain + Nader(who will steal some of the ultra liberals from Obama but stands no chance in hell of being elected) vs. Obama

There are two main candidates at this point; John McCain (Republican) v. Barack Obama (Democrat). On top of that, there are a lot of third party members that will steal a few votes from each side (e.g. Bob Barr, Ralph Nadar).

Personally, anything is better than McCain. He betrayed the Conservative vote and lost my interest when he said he wanted to stay in Iraq. Then again, I am more an Independent or Libertarian until the Republicans clean up their act. Coming November, I'm likely voting Obama.

Same. :D Sadly, no third party candidate would make it as far as the main elections like a Republican or Democrat can. On top of that, it will be a good 8 years or so before a Conservative is taken seriously. However, in 8 years time, I wouldn't be surprised if the Republican pool of candidates included the likes of Bob Barr or Ron Paul. They are the closest thing to a sane Barry Goldwater or a William F. Buckley, Jr. that we'll see in this century.
