Signing the petition will do nothing. I do support your signing of it -- by all means go on ahead. But no one, ever, listens to these things. Why? Because a script could be written in minutes to get it signed 10,000 times. Same thing could happen with someone with too much free time.

Signing the petition would show that you do support the end of the 'slaughter' but it wouldn't do anything to actually end it.

Again, for the record, I'm not against signing the petition. But neither am I for it.

 

Why don't you go play in traffic? Maybe go drink bleach or something? Go do the world a favor. You get owned by us in arguments, so what do you do? You go and flame us, how mature is that. At least we are mature when we refer to you as the dumbass that you really are.

 

All this over dolphins. Everyone needs to chill out. Believe me the power trippers are going to start -reping everyone in this thread soon if it hasn't already happened. It's sad that animals and people get killed, but it's part of life. If you are sensitive to this kind of act, don't watch the videos. It's not like the Asians are dragging the dolphins to your door step and slaughtering them in front of you. You are choosing to watch these events, so it's your own fault if you are offended by them. It's like hating people who do drugs, and choosing to hang around them only to start drama.

This is not how you discuss a topic, discussing does not involve flames nor idiotic remarks. Just state the facts, and debate in a polite manner. As for you "MetaIcon" calm down, you're only enraged because you see blood. Deep down you have no sympathy for these dolphins. You think that if someone kills, and you see blood; that it's wrong. Just look at it..

Animal cruelty is not the ONLY thing happening in this world that's inhumane. Think of how many people individually die for no reason. Would you feel bad about that too?

That's how the foodcycle/lifecycle works. Either inhumane or humane, everything happens for a reason. And if the killings of these dolphins is the only thing that enrages you, I suggest you look at some beheading videos then come back and say what's "wrong" and what's not.

And as for the dolphin massacre, I think it's pretty stupid how they kill. I mean, if you let something feel pain, that's just idiotic. If you're going to kill in the first place, why not make it humane? You're already doing one wrong, might as well not make it two.

As for everything else, I am not a heartless ------, if you so remark me as being. I'm just looking at the bigger picture here, economics, food, everything else that comes into play. Well, these are just my 2 cents, take it or throw 'em away, doesn't make or break me.

could everybody who thinks its right to slaughter/torture fellow animals please read my post.

+ I'd also like to say : a lot of you are saying "there are more important things", well, so what? does that mean we can't solve the problem, just because there are "more important" things to deal with? Making japanese fishermen stop torturing and slaughtering dolhpins might be a priority to most people.

Nobody said it is ok to torture dolphins.
But the point is, they may not consider that torture. Slaughtering animals is fine, slaughtering tends to just mean killing, tortuing, not so much.

But I don't think they get any pleasure from it, if you'd like to oh so kindly offer an alternative way to kill them.

Basically, I highly doubt they get much enjoyment from the way they kill the dolphins or that they would actually call it "Torture"

When your poor, and your desperately killing things for food, you dont have much money to spend, especially on methods of humanely killing dolphins.
