i was on the internet yesturday then a norton update finished as soon as that finished then aol signed itself off so i tryed to log back in then norton kicks in saying a characteristic of the "bla bla" virus is trying to come inbound but it isnt a virus its aol and if i disable it just to log in then enable it again it signs me out. what a ----ty update huh? im in the internet cafe now so if anyone else is having this problem please reply so i know it aint just me. and does anyone know a fix for it?
its been allowing aol for 6 years  lol its not blocking the program its blocking the aol files that looks like a virus but isnt.... so it cant connect because it thinks its blocking a virus.
Ive seen this before... try getting rid of Norton. <_< I would try, for free or pay, Avast, AVG, or, for pay, Nod32 I took Norton off my friend's computer, and AOL/RoadRunner (cable net) worked better.
right i found the problem. last night there was a norton update. and it affected all norton 2003 users that have AOL. basicly stopping them from connecting to the internet. norton was thinking that aol was a virus  which it wasnt. iv now updated to norton 2005 and everything is fine now just letting people know if they have the same problem because i know alot of people that has got this issue. and i fixed it for them ^_^ so im not alone on this! this is worldwide sh*t lol who ever has aol and norton 2003 are f**ked basicly untill there disable norton or update to a later version or change firewall
