noob need help.

hey guys, I'm having trouble adding a render to my sig background. Everytime i paste it over the background the black or grey or whatever the background of the render has is still shown. what am I doing wrong?

 

are you sure the render is saved in .png format?

Oooh Thanks, that was the problem lol. Why must they be saved as png though?

 

png make pieces that are empty really transparent, and jpg file will fill it white white or whatever

 

.png is also high quality.

 

with easy tags/renders, that doesnt make a really big difference, when you save as JPG but put it on 12 it will be the same
