Well I've been grounded for awhile and just recently got back and when I decided to make some new sigs I ran into a problem. When it's time to add some text/fonts to my sig and I open the space for them then type it is unreadable no matter the size. I'm using CS and tried in PS7 and the same thing occured. Any ideas or suggestions?

yea man i had the some probelm, just close down ps>restart computer>start ps again>try to type something and check ALL sizes>also make sure your using an approatiate COLOUR for the sig eg black and dark background use a WHITE text colour font.

    hope this should help

and good luck to you :)

if all else fails I heard there was some setting you mess with but I forget. When this happened to me all I did is open up the character windows I and I increased the size by 1000% or so in both directions, that should work though you should reasearch exactly how to fix it.

Yea I'm pretty sure it's something with my settings because if I open someone elses .psd file it works , but not mine.

I'm not going to reinstall it so I might as well google my arse off.

I had a problem, where my fonts were really small. I had to make the fonts like size 3000 in order for me to see them. I opened the psd's on a bunch of different computers and it had the same problem on them all. All I can suggest is copying every single non-text layer, and putting them in a new psd. Then try to put in text and it should work.

By unreadable do you mean its to small or it looks jumbled up with other letters?

If it looks jumbled up with other letters it might be your anti-aliasing because I had the same problem and realised it was set to non :)

It's prolly not that though but you never know :D

This has happened to me before, it pissed me off because my text would be a size 2 and look like a size 78. After a while of restaring my PC and Photoshop it eventually went back to normal, however the only way I found to fix this is to simply put decimals as sizes.

I would have a .03 font or something, trial and error got this to work.
