No Regedit

    Ok, im using Windows XP, and when i go run>regedit i get a message saying:

    "Windows cannot find regedit"

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    Sure you've typed it right? Awfully odd that regedit wouldnt be there...

    look in C:\WINDOWS folder should be there

    you do a search for it? dunno what coulda happened to it. you don't have any virus', etc?

    Ahh, also look in:
    C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

    When i type that into the adresse bar i get the:

    "What program would you like to use to open this file" thing :(

    No, it's a good thing :rofl:

    Yes, it's a bad thing, scan for viruses, system restore, reformat. Something's gotta work, although other's probably have better options.

    I scanned for viruses, and i dont have any :|, except limewire.

    when youy go to run, type
    regedit.exe

    it did that to me too, just try the .exe at the end, see if it works, if not, make yourself admin and try again, if ur not one

    get AKW's msn form hisprofile and ask him then, thats the best i can say :P
