Well anyway, I think you all are arguing and getting pissy for no reason at all. The only person who truly deserves to get angry is the person who made the piece that you cut the render out from. 9 times out of 10 that'll be gamewallpapers.com, but it might be someone else. So don't get mad if someone 'rips' your render...after all, you 'ripped' someone else's wallpaper.

yes that is true.. but this guy isnt even on that subject hes just whining about it because he didnt receive any creds(credits) or rep thats all this is about some of you guys are seriously caught up in GR too much and take credits and rep too seriously lol i understand you spend time rendering these pics wich you did not create like 3ed said but just get over it its the internet as long as your sigs turn out great dont worry about it :censored:

 

I think that render packs still should be given out but there should be a water mark on every single render in the pack so that people know that the work was done by that specific person.

 

I agree. Most pics I've used are from devART and I've asked permission. Just seems wrong not asking the original creater.

 

Guys, your ripping artwork off other people, so whats the big deal, your ripping, their ripping, your both in the wrong, i dont see the problem

 

people are claiming the "rendering" not the image.

call it professional curtosy amongst renderers (<loadsa RRRs)
you make a pack with stuff you rendered, fine

make a pack using someonelses renders => edit the file names to include the person who rendered it.

or like has been said before in this thread and many other threads :
put yer name on the image, outside the render.

 

shouldnt you be happy that other people are using your render other than complaining

 

man people put your name on it.. i agree with Guinness.. or you can just give the render packs for free and say you got it off people and not claim it yours. i didnt know some people can be retarded and say its theres!

Only post renders that YOU made. so if youre selling them trough render packs, you should be banned, but thats abit too harsh. ridicoulously

And its not like im whining about not recieving creds (3ed) , its just that i think its really respectless just to take away work you made (RENDERED, NOT MADE ITSELF, I KNOW THAT BY NOW) is taken away without any comment just to stuff up in a render pack and to sell them.
3ed, i give no ---- about credits, i prefer a comment and tips on what i can do. you take that away by using one of our renders. this thread seems to be renderers vs renderpack makers.

I haven't said anything about credits, so why are you directing that at me?

As far as someone taking "your work" you cut the image out, big woop, its not your image, so theres no reason to complain if someone is using it. And you keep saying "our renders" its not yours, you cut it out, thats all, it doesn't belong to you in any way, shape or form.

 

When I made a render pack I gave it out for free. Some people might have repd me but I never told them to. I also cred, and or + rep everyone whose render I use, and or take.
