Screenstyle; that's not true, i play gta and have playstation etc., but i still enjoy playing that racegame from Mario xD

My opinion on Revolution: Hmm, never really liked the Gamecube, and the weird controller should be an extra thing, not the main controller.

I really don't like you fanboys coming in here and mucking up the thread. Try to act like you have some intelligence while you post here.

For those that actually posted something worthwhile, thank you.

I myself am looking forward to all of the consoles for next-gen. They each bring something different and diverse to the table.

Oh, and the idiots that are talking about DS vs. PSP, go away.

To some it is worth the wait, especially hardcore Nintendo lovers but as for myself i won't even consider getting a Nintendo Revolution when released. PS3 is all i see.

They say Nintendo corporation would improve on the graphics to the new Nintendo Revelution. So who knows, it may be worth getting. PS3? A lot of people aren't so interested in that right after Xbox 360 came.

Bah. PS3 and Xbox have no innovation to them at all. Wow, better processing power and better graphics! Virtually the same games (that are worth playing) are out or will be out for the PC; just spend maybe 100-200$ for that upgrade instead of 300$ for the console. The Revolution, on the other hand, has something that PCs cannot emulate. There is no controller for the PC that is like the revolution's, unlike the other systems, and nintendo has a history of making fun, innovative games. I find increasingly realistic, bloody FPS's somewhat repetitive.

No you dont get it, all of the Revvys games that use motion contollers are all able to be ported to controllers and/or a mouse for a computer.

You paid 3999 euros for a computer? Thats like 7000 USD out here... you could have made that computer for like... $3000 USD (about 1.7K euros)

Anywho, justl ike every other time nintendo has released a console with the other big names, it has gone under.

As mentioned the onyl good games will be zelda/DK/mario whereas PS3 has RE games, FF games, Onimusha, etc. on it and XBOX will have Halo 3 and Elder Scrolls 4.

The controller personally would irritate me, i like the dual hand holding controllers, not a remote shaped controller with a track ball.

What was around to go against the NES? Seriously it was the newest thing since atari and the pong machine. SNES is one of the best consoles ever, undisputed. GC is current outselling XBOX for 2 reasons. A) XBOX sold A LOT of consoles up front, and B) people who wanted XBOX already bought the XBOX, that is why sales arent going up anymore. Hell, I bought GC for 1, yes ONE, game... RE4, and I quickly sold it after it came out on PS2 as did a WHOLE lot of people. Dont believe me? Check your local gaming stores that accept trade-ins.

considering approximately 1/3 of nintendo's gaming world sales revolve around those three characters/games, its more of a fact than an opinion. even small games like twisted metal have sold more than mario/zelda/DK (def DK). No name games like Suikoden have outsold those games. Not to mention games like Final Fantasy which is known throughout most of the world as being the best consecutive RPG series. Keep in mind those are all releases for the PLAYSTATION, with the minor exception of the earlier versions (which werent very good), being for the Nintendo (minus FF3, that was one of the best, also on a majority opinion of those who played the game). Im talking the games like Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest, etc. Now if Nintendo had decided to continue business with Squaresoft they would have had tremendous success in the gaming industry with games like FF7-FF10 and Chrono Trigger, on top of their already award winning combos of DK/Mario/Zelda. Mario alone is like a franchise, people keep complaining of the amount of games FF has, look at Mario. They have made mario soccer, mario golf, mario tennis, mariokart, smash bros (which, yes, is an outbreak of mario), mario striker, super mario bros, etc.

Yes, yes I can, and yes, yes I will.

I have used the EXACT same controller for the computer. It had an A button, a B button and a scroller. It was a mouse. The controller is simply useless unless they plan on making everything like a ball rolling around [sarcasm]oh joy, i mean i tinkled a bit from the excitement [/sarcasm].

Also, considering PS3 and Nintendo Revolution are coming out generally at the same time, Nintendo will have one of its few chances to redeem itself. However, seeing as how PS2 sales more than doubled that of XBOX sales and GC sales COMBINED in the first quarter, id say its a long shot.
