Only problem I see is the difficulties with games being ported to all three consoles, developers would need to design stuff specially for the controller.
I don't think that would be the problem entirely. It has all the same buttons, and it even has a separate analog stick. It's just in different positions.
Scared of change? I guess so. You called the thing that you are going to stick with "old fashion". That would mean old, this is new. Give it a chance.
thats like saying i wouldnt go back to the old nintendo rectangle controllers because ive thougt about how the remote could work and i think it would work also if the controller thing is true i think its the new step in gaming, as it gives the game makers more freedom with controlls lol
i think it looks hot and the motion sensors will give gaming some something new because lately most games are exactly the same which is boring
I think that controler might be "fake" cause I been looking on a new of nintendo's sites and they say nothing about that kind of controlser
I think if sony or MS made that controller most of you would be screaming about how awesome it is. Give nintendo some credit they started this all for godsakes.
the controller looks kinda good but i will try it out first before buying and check out the line up and reviews
PLEASE tell me you're kidding... Anyway, the shell that looks like a GCN controller was fan-made from the IGN forums. Nintendo has confirmed, however, that there will be a shell similar so you can play with an old fashioned controller and still have the motion sensors.
I don't keep up on console news. I've never heard the term "motion sensors" for a console. So what does it mean?
Imagine a 3d mouse. It keeps track of the x-, y-, and z-axes as well as tilt in all directions. Imagine an FPS with this, just move the controller like a gun to aim, and the trigger to shoot. Duck Hunt again, with a controller that can do a lot more.
