Not a bad price, wonder what the price will be in the UK. Its normally not a converstion of the US price.
The thing about Nintendo is that they always have reasonable prices,but they lack in game department. I am not saying that Nintendo games suck,i am saying that they rely to much on Mario,Zelda and SSBM(but there are some other gems). Either way,i'll probably buy it(after i buy PS3).
what nintendo hasn't mentioned is the cost of the embaresment it will cause you, just imagine it, goining in to a shop "excuse me can I have a wii please?" they would probably tell you to go to the public toilets across the road
The reason they can price it so low is the cost of each classic game you DL. IE NES games will have a set price, same with SNES, N64, and i've heard genesis...or I'm geussing they'll have a set price. I know they'll cost something.
Tbh I'm not interested in buying a wii, but maybe this will help encourage microsoft and sony to lower their prices a bit in order to get a bit more of the market.
I think the price would be worth it for the classic games alone...Playin secret of mana on a console again Plus the new games...red steel looks crazy, and twilight princess will be awesome with the nunchuck controller.
Definate buy for me. Ill probably buy the Wii first day it comes out (The same as i did for the N64 and the GC :lol: ) and then buy the PS3 when its price goes down. I wouldnt even look at a 360, same as i did for the X-Box... PS3 because its just a legendary console, Wii because Nintendo are the only company looking past polygons and for what the 360 offers ill use my computer. Done and dusted
None of the new consoles are really any good. The games make it good.... 360 will have: Gears of War Halo 3 probly another one I forgot of soon coming... PS3: Idk, they have a few things... MGS is one probly..then, idk dont care about PS Nintendo: Zelda SSB:B zelda and ssbb ftw! Halo is like..you beat it once and who cares...it's repedative gameplay. Good/fun but repedative, as most FPS's are...You run in, shoot done. Zelda has way more to it, and its much longer. The remote for Nintendo is awesome, anyone see how u aim with it and u can use it like a sword? Thats good ---- Wii is like, half of PS3's cost, maybe even less by just a tad... and who the hell cares about gfx that much? I havent seen that big of a difference with graphics, its only good that they can now process far more things so if you have 30 people on the screen it doesnt lag... and if you dont got this big nice HD-tv then it takes away from the feeling o.o
Its because those games are what is hyped up the most. GC had a bunch of good RPGS that werent insanely hyped or comercialed, so noone noticed them.
