DS. The psp can't run as good of graphics as the DS can. I saw something a video like PSP vs. DS, and if you bend the psp, the disc flies out. o.o Yeah. DS.
almost all people who choose PSP is because its a Sony product when they know next to nothing about it.
I would definatley choose the PSP over the DS because I have always wanted a portable Playstation... and everyone knows it but I'll say it again... Nintendo has been only putting out kiddy games since its GameCube days...
I feal people have forgottenm this... dual screens and touch-screen technology, wireless communication and built-in PictoChat software you have the power to draw, write and send messages wirelessly. oh and congrats with getting an extra battery with the PSP, that gives you 6 hours to my 8 on the DS... BTW, we have these nice little things called ipods for music... and I am actually going to be having fun watching the anti-social PSP fans never be able to play against one another as for support, both have about equivilent amounts of 3rd party support unlike the PSP, the DS truly has good backlighting, leaving the PSP dark and gloomy from lack of illumination, wait an extra feature for dark and gloomy games... lets not forget the backwards compatability with GBA games and the possibility of adding expansion packs through that port... ohh and the game media itself is very small and light as well and why two screems? better multiplayer.. Which then leads up to the concept of the case of disc skipping which is not good for game nor system. so far I have not heard a single reason why the PSP is better that is either true or can't be nullified in some manner(IE: a negative aspect due to it or the DS is equivilent)
I'd take the PSP- only because it has PS games. But I havent really looked into the difference between DS and PSP. Though I've played DS, I loved it.. It's not that big, and I loved beating the crap outa my lil bros friend in madden lol.
As you can see, he's the type of gamer, that solely only cares about the graphics - So what does that mean? He knows nothing about gaming. You say that the DS sucks?, you may be a child, possibly in your earlier, maybe late teens, but there comes a time where you need to learn to grow up. Saying that something 'sucks' just because it's your 'opinion' is seriously pathetic. Because their is such thing as carry cases, and also taken on board your physique is another matter. The DS was created to attract an 'older' audience. My older brother has a Nintendo DS, I've played it (I've also ordered one off of lik-sang.com seeing as I live in the UK) And yes, everyone is talking about the Touch Screen and the Dual screens, what about the Voice Recognition? (microphone) where you can "hypothetically" speak to your game? WiFi and Wireless multiplayer of up to 16 players and over? - Imagine playing Mario Kart DS with 7 of your mates? -- When you think of Sonys PSP, what do you think about? What exactly is everyone talking about when it comes down to that? - The ability to play Mp3s? - I thought the point of a 'handheld' was to play games? and not listen to music on the go? And what about the Graphics...The PSP is only on a par with the PS2, so is that really nessessarily, seeing as you've probably got a PS2 yourself? - The fact of the battery life, comes into play here and the power that is needed to play 'multiplayer' - The PSP was rushed and poorly designed, and it's not a surprise seeing as every product you get from Sony, is 'un-reliable' If someone wanted to play a movie, and literally, felt that they needed to watch movies on their DS, they can buy the Movie Player that came out for the GBA because it's also compatible with the DS.
