I was messing with my settings and tried something out and I just had to share it with everyone here.

#1: Go to your desktop and go to properties.

#2: Then go to the appearance tab.

#3: In the appearance tab, click "Effects."

#4: And where it says "Use the following methods to smooth edges and screen fonts,"
under that go to the drop down and go select "Cleartype."

#5: Apply the settings and see how u like it.

If you've had trouble reading something on your monitor try this. It helped out a lot for me.

Ahh I know..I am 95% sure this is for LCD monitors only. (or it at least helps those more than crt's)

Actually when I put it on when I had my CRT, the difference was great. Things were so much clearer. The other day I thought my text went back to standard, but it didn't... too bad there isn't ClearType2 :(
