As far as most people will get, it will be the PS3. As far as revolutionizing the gaming industry and continuing to bring stuff to it, the nintendo revolution, in terms of graphics and nothing else, xbox 360. At first glance I hated the way the Nintendo was setting up its new next gen console, but after reading through the stats, the revolution is really the only console bringing something new to the gaming world, its not just upgrading disk compatibility and graphics, its bringing a new world to the gaming industry as far as consoles are conerned. While I dont project it will sell more than either the XBOX 360 or the Playstation 3, I do predict the Revolution will not be far behind. The PS3 will, once again, and as always, outsell the competition. Why? Because it has the widest selection of games. You can buy FPS, Racing, RPG, Action/Adventure, Strategy, etc. by the handful, whereas with XBOX you have to stick to basically what we already have just with upgraded graphics. Microsoft is going to dead end themselves eventually because their console mine as well be a computer, it has a huge network database for connecting millions of people together to play online (just like our normal computers). The only difference is the controls, the single player and the additional multiplayer function to play with others at your house. The Sony corporation is already working out the bugs and MANY companies are already producing games that will be able to utilize all the abilities of the PS3, whereas the XBOX 360 basically shot out there with about 10 games to select and rarely does a new game come out, PS3 will come out with easily 20-30 games and companies will continue to make multiple games. Sony has shown its strength through out the entire gaming industry and one of the reasons it continues to live is because gaming companies trust Sony and its capability to stay alive and continue bringing in money for them, where the microsoft corporation is a fairly new corporation. Also, despite the other companies opinions of it, they cant lose Nintendo. Face it, what would the gaming industry be without memorable characters like Mario, Link, Samus, Pikachu, etc. from all the childish games Nintendo has to offer for our younger gamers to introduce them into the world of gamers, ultimately flowing into the Playstation and XBOX. My predicition, in the end, is that Sony will beat out both the XBOX 360 and the Revolution, but not by as much as it did with the PS2 vs the GC and XBOX. The PS2 sold almost double what XBOX and GC COMBINED sold in total (atleast the first season they did). This time I feel an equal amount of people will seperate the XBOX 360 from the PS3 and the Revolution from the XBOX 360. For example, 10,000 people more bought PS3 over XBOX 360, and 10,000 more people bought the XBOX 360 over the Revolution. I am truly looking forward to the race to see which one sells more when they do finally come out.

Revolution will once again be under-rated as a Childish console. When it really isn't, like said, it's more then just simple upgrades like the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. (The only difference between the two is that...well, there isn't one) Revo will help to revolutionise gaming, but no one will take notice. All the games are childish apprently but Nintendo basically created "Proper Gaming" they started it all of, and with games like Metroid Prime, i'm looking forward to seeing the Revo.
I'll take the PS3 for $100 dollars Alex. From what i've heard, the PS3 is going to rule all, but Revolution might give it a run for its money.
PS3 is going to be on the top for sure. As you guys could see, "Why do you think, PS3 has being late on releasing?” My thought is that, its going to have better graphics then other console,etc. X-box 360 was one of the greatest consoles of these years or this months. Many people think that is much better than PS3, it has better graphics, ect. We have to admit that X-box 360 is a good console, it might be on the rank of the top 5 consoles. Nintendo, the new consoles. His controllers look really classic, but the graphics are the same as GC (Game Cube), and the most important thing on each console, are how the games are realistic. One of the things I like about Nintendo, they have the classic games like Super Mario, Zelda, etc. This is my point of view of these consoles, and my opinion on each one. PS3 would be the top console, of the world of video games. I hope each year, a new console comes out. Agree, if PS2 sold more than X-box and GC combined, I think PS3 is going to sale triple of amount of consoles. Nintendo, has to make a improve on their consoles, if they want to be the popular like the companies like "Sony", and "Microsoft".
PS3 will have the best graphics, the revolution the best controller... and the CP will have even better graphics, a VERY GOOD controller(aka keyboard+ mouse) and a cheaper price(200$ GFX card vs 400$ console).
PS3 will come out on top not because of the graphics/games and all the bells and whistles that each of the consoles have but because they will all be close in that regard. In the asian market PS2 dominated that market and PS3 will do the same and thats the reason why Xbox will come in 2nd for sales worldwide.
Eh? No it won't. It will be about 400$,which is pretty low considering how much it costs to produce one ps3
