Can someone give me a simple guide? Call me small minded but I get overwhelmed by the humongous archive of How Tos that come with the help (F1) of Photoshop. It's the 'extended' version.

Basically, I wanna learn how to make layouts for websites, and skins and stuff. And I also want to learn how to actually photoshop images. You know, put fake tans, red eye reduct, ect. etc.

    Thanks for reading!

you need to slice and code a skin that you make so it can work on an actual website and make all the links click-able.

    oh god..

i tried to do the FIRSt thing there, which was making the stepping into the picture 3d affect..

and all i retained was 'make ne wlayer, delete old one, marquee new one... fill old one'

i was like gah!!! i dont even know HOW to do the basic steps except actually load the picture onto photoshop

and make fake tans using the burn tool

    lol :P

You just need to find a tutorial that explains all the tools etc..

    or search some vid tuts..

and about coding, you don't do that in photoshop.

You make the layout in photoshop, and then you code it so that all link work etc.

slicing is pretty easy, if you know what to slice..
and if you want something to be coded, ask someone it probably is to diff for you to do it yoursellf.

While we're on the subject, is it worth upgrading to CS3 or is it just worth saving the money and keeping good old CS2?
