Hrm.... looks like a rip to me. Lets look at your current site... looks like you ripped P2L's layout. Lets look at your rep... looks like you tried releasing a template for free, but it wasnt yours. You lied by saying you were going to challenge us all to a "scratch" template, yet you're not posting the template... maybe you should grow up, admit your wrongs... and be a man.
..this skin here is not made from scratch either.. its based of one of transverse style's popular forum skins.
this skin isnt based off of anything, its paid for from the site extremepixels.com the site roboto212 made up there is a transverse styles theme tho and yes, all he did was copy the images and change the format around a little bit, just like hes done on a few templates. I say the reason hes not releasing them here is because he knows someone here will know its a template monster template or something popular that he claims he made... roboto, it doesnt matter if you made them from scratch (which I highly doubt as most of "your" designs are nothing more than color changes, and in come cases nothing more than copy and pasted images (you can tell because the gradient will match the exact skin that your trying to copys gradient). it doesnt matter if you made them 100% from scratch, its the design that belongs to them, not the .psd and such, by using their design your violating copyright laws and are indeed viable for criminal charges to be pressed on you if the company so chooses to do so. From scratch we mean every single piece of work on your template is your design, sure, it can be inspired by 5-10 templates, but in no way is "from scratch" an exact replica of another site made in layers in PS. I am sure every template maker here is inspired by another template, or a large piece, or a signature or something of the like, but they dont just make a template to replicate it, thats called ripping no matter how you look at it.
Ripping is that you steal someone elses work and say that its yours. Maybe you didnt completely rip, more like copying but thats almost the same thing. And like demtia said its criminal thing. You lied about saying a site you made is yours, ok you copyed it yourself, but the design and idea is not yours and so you cant say its yours. Do you see us stealing someones sig, change the colors a bit and say its ours? No. Please admit you copied p2l cuz this doesnt make it any better for you. Get it through your head. Stop copying sites and become better and adult graphic designer.
