    seems really simple, like you just added a light, and darkened the sides ^_^;;

    try some tutorials, a lot, find the effects you like and give it some flare :)

    Lot's of negative space.
    But the lighting's cool. ^_^ :D
    keep it up, try to add more effects. ;)
