That looks like an excellent system. You're lucky enough to find a Wolfdale Intel, hopefully they won't be out of stock by the time you order.

if you don't need RAID get the version with ICH9 insteed of ICH9r, int he US they go for $70 so I'd expect maybe 50 quid across the pond
    also consider the Ds3l

another thing to note, in most modern games, CPU performance doesn't matter A TON, it's more GPU performance. in full honesty you'de probably be fine with an overclocked e4400, e4500, etc. roughly 10% slower per clock than the e8400, but it's 1/3rd the price and won't really hinder you in too much asside from perhaps supreme commander and even in that case you'de still probably be more than fine. e8400/Xeon e3110(they're the same) @ 4GGhz is epicly powerful though.

for cards consider(in order of performance)
    8800GS 384
    3850
    9600GT
    3870
    8800GS 768
    8800GT
    8800GTS

if you link em to the site's you use I can dig up specific links. I'm used to US/ canada people posting moreso because well that's where most requiests come form and I'm more familiar.
