Too big, too much negative space, lacks depth, no focal, no lighting, text is placed badly. I'd recommend you go do some tutorials, as they are the only real way to get better.
QFT. Agreed. It's a good idea to start with a couple of tutorials, learn a few tricks and than head off to your own style if you want.
