New Server..

    ive had a few downtimes that lasted 25-30 mins.

    I never knew it could load fatter, but it seems to be running fine right now. :rofl:

    Alot of people have complained that GR isnt loading.

    OK, I gotta say that I've seen a huge increase in server speed. Fasterfox is clocking load times at about 2 seconds, much better than before...

    Thanks for the server change, things seem fine at the moment. :) Hope we won't experience as much downtime as before.

    Personally, I used to allways have trouble with GR crashing, and I think it might have just been a bandwidth issue since so many people are active here. Today morning I was upset when I had to wait 5 hours just to get on but the wait has payed off, for the first time GR has been up for a full day without crashing! Very good move shaggy.

    thanks, the older server had hardware configuration issues, (i think) so that is the reason for all the downtime. Not bandwidth.

    It might just not have been able to handle the load.

    And still waiting for those server specs shag man :lol:

    The server could have handled it, this server has one less cpu but has 2 150 raptor hd and a better datacenter uplink.

    Gotcha. Maybe one day you can buy a server cluster for GR instead, we could say goodbye to downtimes forever :lol:
