New Rules

Guess what, at 5 months old, your opinion about the entire direction that GR goes in is completely Irrelevant.

Mods decide, Admins decide, people who have been around for ages modding the site or not (Gurly, Fusey, Dem, Logic) Etc.

This will do NOTHING to change their minds.

 

Dude, i just said what the mods are doing IS NOT bringing back the old gr.

The old gr was way better than it is now.. people were friendly.
And secondly, you've been here 5 months, you don't know anything about the old GR

 

this isn't bringing the old GR back, this is trying to recreate the community feel that was on the old GR, people weren't out to make just make lots of credits fast, people would help eachother, chat and share. WIth these rules the staff is trying to force that spirit back into GR.
I really miss the old GR but if this is the right way to get it back... :unsure:

technically old GR was 2004-2005 - End of 2005 ie 2006 it died

In 2005 we use to have approx. 1000 members everyday - look at it now barely 400 odd

Then there was tons of members just helping - I asked for a sig and it was done the following morning without creds ... Thats the feeling i am long awaiting however hasnt came yet because there are people hindering the process

Creds didnt matter those days - Creds did become cash in 2006 and ever since then GR has become a market for hungry people who cant make a living without them

Without creds everyone dies however the ones that are use to making their own stuff and getting appreciated by other members is PRICELESS

I don't know anything about ol GR as I already said, I wanted to make these pols so maybe the mods/admins would rmeove the new rules, I don't want you to decide if you want old GR or how it is now, maybe I should change the poll question ?

 

Yeah maybe you should. And think twice before you post stuff you don't know anything about.

 

Because it would be a nice thing to do, and you wont have the option to buy the tut for 1k becuase you cant sell them.

More like there are 5 forums you cant rep in, every forum that you would need to rep someone in you can.

Not really, you can leave whenever you want.

More like the people that just want loads of creds are greedy, and what is more important? People who are not as good at gfx getting free tuts, or people that are good having to pay for them? Also remember, if all tuts are free, that means YOU get them for free as well, not just the new people.

And I agree with dark, "These small polls will do nothing but bring in debate"

just state ur opinion and arguments . i mean its quite clear u dont know what the hell ur talking about. first ur saying old gr. and now its the rules removed. the rules have been here for like 1 week maybe even less. how could a removal of those rules be old gamerenders?

 

i never stated I wan't old GR back, I don't know what it exactly is. I just want these stopid rules removed, and if this is the way GR used to be then I don't want the old GR.. you guys just don't need to flame against me, just answer the poll.

I'm also not going to reply here anymore, people just vote yes or no, and we wills ee what the admins are going to do with it.

 

Thats where you are wrong. You do not know what the old GR was like, and these changes have NOTHING (imo) to do with bringing back the old GR.

Haven't you seen the replies at the recent changes? a lot of members don't like them..

1. the admins are in no way going to change the rules by some kid his stupid idea;s to take over gr/ ur not superman
2. the threadname said old gr. and ur talking about bringing back. so i guess u did stated u want old gr back.
3. no one really flamed u but gave their opinion on how useless this thread is.

ur talking about old gr blabla. and people now are like here for 3 months or so. and they only read over intrest threads and give a quick opinion without coming back for a further answer on people's comments. how can people who have been here talking about bringing back.
