    ^ $399, $200 decrease.

The problem with the iPod touch is the lack of space, only 8/16gb which is nothing compared to the 160gb in the classic.

Personally from reviews I've read and stuff, if I was gonna get any of em I'd go for the Classic but I'd only need the 80gb one

I'm a rebel. I have a PSP for music (with the root folder update I got it synced with my fav playlist in WMP). I buy real CD's so I can fill up a real shelf and I got an LG Prada as a phone (in april), compared to my prev phone (KRZR) the iPhone is HUGE and the Prada is a much better size :P what can I say, "Never liked Apple after I saw the fanboys." or "ZOMFG APPLE PWNZ YOU ALL!"

The iPhone felt like a brick when I played with it at the Apple store. A very, very thin brick. I wouldn't get one unless they found a way to make it smaller. Didn't fit well in my pocket at all. Entering phone numbers was hell. Actually, trying to do anything was hell -- their 'buttons' are too close together for a touch screen. It's a nice design for an iPod, though, but there's no way I'd use it as a phone. Hence the Touch, which I may actually buy if/when my older one dies.

    The closet...I think I'm stuck...
I was intersted in the iPhone as soon as I saw the initial idea behind it, but I am annoyed at the monopoly style of marketing Apple have (yet again) thrown at their products. Personally I want to choose which mobile service I opt with for my phone, not be forced down what will be the expensive route.
The iTouch looks interesting once again, but I'm more than content with my current Archos, and was rather more wanting to update my phone which is getting a bit dated now (no camera, no mp3 capabilities, limited picture messaging...) plus there's the infamous crappiness of iPod hardware that I hope (but highly doubt) will be sorted this time round which makes me certain to hold back at least six months. Still, to give Apple their due, yet another reinvention of a now-classic look that actually really works and keeps them right at the forefront of style.

I was interested in buying a regular iPod, the latest ones that are out now, but after seeing this, I think I can wait a bit longer and see if the new models are worth checking out :) ...

I have a 30 gb video.. It's sick. This is my first time seeing the itouch so I think I'm going to buy it.
It's not that expensive for me but for others I could see why they would wait for price drops.
I'll see you in line lol
