and now, I feel I want to buy a new DSLR

but which would you reccomend?, I wan't to hear what you think since I really don't know which to get.

I don't want to spend toooo much so don't reccomend the most expensive camera out there hehe.

Personally I'm shooting for the Nikon D40. But I won't be able to afford it for a while.

Personally I'd go for the Canon Rebel XTi but I always go for Canon so maybe I'm a bit biased hehe.

Just do some research on some of the more popular brands like Canon, Nikon and maybe Olympus. Don't go for Sony, they make good tvs but the cameras arent too durable. oh and when you buy try to get something that comes with a starter lens so that you can save up for a fancy one after a while. =]

I've had a Sony (don't know the model) for about 5 years now and it still works great. The picture quality has gotten slightly worse since the camera is older but I can still take great pictures with it. On that note tho, I do want a new camera so I will prbly take a look at the Canon's people have mentioned

I think Canon or Nikon cameras are nice, at least Canon makes one of the most powerful and ----- cameras.

The D40(x) and XT(i) are about the same. It's more a personal preference. I grew up with Nikon and already had a Nikkor lens, so I naturally leaned the Nikon way. Some people prefer Canon. They have about the same technology (not sure about Canon's VR though). I would recommend the D40x or the Rebel XTi. Neither will disappoint you. Go for whichever brand you're more familiar with, is all I can say.
