Network Help

    Hey guys I have a Wireless router and I set up something on my desktop to share printers and files wirelessly. I been using my dads laptop which is a dell on XP and it works I can trade files and print stuff from his laptop. I recently bought ME a Toshiba Laptop with VISTA on it and I cannot connect to my file/printer sharing thing. Can anyone help me out?

    Did you install the drivers for the printer on your new computer? I also have had problems with my wireless when using vista, make sure that when the laptop reads the name of the wireless. For an example if I named my wireless "The Hiphopopomus" make sure your computer doesn't say
    The Hiphopopotums 2 because it will read the 2 as if its another wireless router...

    Yea Its connected to my router and the wifi switch is on and everything.

    Dont you need another adapter for it to work then.
