I think to sell anything/auction anything you need at least 100 posts, same goes with buying. So basically you need 100 posts to get into auction roomm, offers and requests and shops and services.
I disagree... where do you typically get yur posts? I think of my 700 posts 500 are in those 3 subsections. The reason this site is so appealing is for that stuff. I think if you put restrictions on it, you'll have WAY less traffic.
Having a 50 or so post requirement won't stop scamming and will only stop new people from buying and selling for awhile depending on how long they can get on.Most people come here and can offer great things from the begining and all your doing by this is making them and people who would buy what they offer wait.
Not having 100 posts doesn't make you a noob... that comment does however. An amazing designer may just have joined and have 5 posts. Is he a noob?
Lets all agree to dissagree. As stated, not all new members are "noobs" and should not be treated that way. If they have something to sell, let them sell it. If they scam, they will get banned. It was also stated that it would lower the traffic of the site, which is one reason the admins would never do it.

You think that people shouldn't be able to post if they are new in that section? That is like making someone sit in the hospital just to wait till it's their turn even if there leg fell off and they are dying. I think that works... lol
