Need You C4d Users To Help Me Out

Ok ive seen these tags about alot before andlooking at one of the recent tags in the sig section i want to learn how to do it myself.


I want to be able to make nice c4ds, i know (kinda) how to do effects etc but i want to do the sort of stuff falcon punch does and your c4d spline line thing renders daecu like you large piece entry.

If anyone can direct me to a good place to look or has tuts that helped them or whatever please let me know i really want to get into this programme and start pumping out some awesome renders for you guys to use and for packs

 

DA has good tuts, I was taught personally by REclusion, former c4d maker extreme at GR

I would like to know how to make the c4d's like falcon punch's... I may do some experimenting and let you know afterwards


2 tips:

1) use the perspective tool (zoom perspective wayyyy out, then zoom normally in)
2) use colored lights to do your coloring, use soft-shadow maps

 

cool thanks ill take those into account, i found some pretty decent DA tuts that are nice, ill show some outcomes when i have time to try them

Took your advice on the lighting and soft map shadows, its basically 3 copies one centered and 1 on each side set to lighten to clean up the sides a bit..


alot of boxes stacked on topa each other with perspective lighting, glass mat and spotlights and area lights of diff colours.

Text is meh but I like the c4d a lot m8... you could do some hot sh!t with that Got a screen recorder? I'd like to see what you did in more detail

I'm playing with some settings on some of by cell renders... I think I got something along the lines of the flat renders... I'll show you when its ready

I just discovered i didnt actually save the C4d File, just the image.

Its basically 7 hollow boxes with the edges extruded stacked on top of each other and a few spotlights beaming from top down, an area light at the bottom of the c4d and all lights coloured. with the camera looking top down with a little perspective view on it, and a glass material on it.

 

I'm gonna start doing some tags based on your C4D's =P It works for fresh, so I will give it a try xD

This new guys fresh is pretty decent with c4ds with his latest tag

 

It's not as good as it's cracked up to be. People don't respect you, bitches don't want you, and it's so hard to find pants that fit.
