I have around $500 to spend, and i need a PC built for minor gaming, and I would like to use newegg to buy everything. If anyone else knows how to help me, or what's compatible, then feel free to offer your opinions. Thanks.
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811119106 $45 Heat sink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835887005 $15 Board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128084 $75 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115030 $160 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820220144 $30 Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130085 $60 HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822148262 $60 CD/DVD Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16827106228 $25 PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817256032 $45 The total would come out to be around $520. If you want a better video card, then i suggest getting this since its really cheap but it would go over your budget: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814150280
A good GPU for low level gaming but still good performance would be this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814161209 99.99 USD but it is good Overall if you include this with Magma's Setup it will total to around $638.29 Tax Included...no shipping cost though I will see what I can dig up for $500 Za
Ok thanks. I need this before tomorrow, my dad is ordering it tomorrow probably. Best set-up wins all my creds.
Mother-Board Processor RA PSU Heatsink / Cooler 160GB HD If you need more HD Space then Pump it up to this one... 250GB HD CD / DVD Combo Drive Simple Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130333 GPU OVerall + Tax: $616.57 hm...looks like mine matches magma's lol  Anyways, you cannot get almost all these things for 500 or less, I know I am trying to build one for 1000 and I can't seem to get the money to fit my 8800 GTX in But, you will be going a few bucks (in this case 100) over or so with tax included
I would recommend the E7200 just because of the higher cpu speed and is cheaper compared to the E6550 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115052. The E7200 runs cooler too but picking any intel chip you cant go wrong. Ram G.Skill http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820231098 Evga cards are always good to get cause you can always upgrade them with there trade in program Also the ati card is AGP not PCI express http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814161209
swap the CPU for an e2180(he's on a budget) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819116052 I'd say this memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820146565 ditch that heatsink stock would probably be OKand if not probably something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835186134 and the rest looks more or less identical to what I'd have said
OK i have a conglomerated list, I would like someone more knowledge to tell me, or double check me and make sure everything is compatible here is everything. This computer is almost built, I would like the thank everyone who helped me get this, all i need is OS and its all set, I have windows Vista but i would rather install XP, and maybe dual boot into Vista later. Any suggestions on a second hard drive? Any deals from newegg, or tiger direct on a great 500GB+ hard drive, mainly to use for backup, and to store my OS for dual boot.
